The number of listed companies involved in the production and maintenance of cluster munitions has nearly halved in less than 5 years. This rapid decline is expected to continue.

Increased public awareness of the humanitarian problems caused by the use of cluster munitions has led governments to cut procurement orders for such weapons. Investors have also played an important role in putting pressure on the ‘supply-side’, and continue to do so.
