The Carbon Disclosure Project's 2007 Global Report was presented in New York on Monday September 24th. Speakers included Bill Clinton and Fredrik Reinfeldt. The webcast can be viewed >> here.


Key Findings:

* Highest response rate ever: 77%

* Improved carbon accounting; more robust responses

* Corporates closing the awareness/action gap

* Wide variations in risk exposure – between and within sectors

* Increased FT500 commitment to renewables and energy efficiency

* Investors are not yet matching improved awareness and information with ACTION

For the first time a Nordic review has been done of the largest 125 companies in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. The report was written by Ethix SRI Advisors.

The Nordic Report will be presented in Oslo (2/10), Stockholm (3/10), Helsinki (4/10) and Copenhagen (22/10). The Stockholm launch will include the participation of, among others, Minister for Enterprise and Energy Maud Olofsson. >> View invitation.
