Engagement and Company dialogue

Ethix supports investors in their role as active owners and provides services and tools relevant to investors different needs and ambitions. Ethix works together with the investor to set up effective procedures that align policy with investment universe and the engagement strategy. This may include supporting investors in their overall engagement process, helping their implementation of the UN PRI, and supporting in company dialogue and collaboration with other investors.

Ethix offers established services and tools, which can be tailored to meet specific requests, e.g.:

Pooled engagement, where Ethix provides an effective engagement process for like-minded investors. Dialogue is based on the results from Norm-Based Screening^® and includes formulation of objectives and time plan; formal communication; meetings and follow-up communication; stakeholder dialogue; and progress reporting.

Tailored engagement, where Ethix provides tailor-made engagement solutions, which may be applied on the basis on the results from Norm-Based Screening^® or selected themes, sectors and criteria.

Bespoke research, where Ethix provides an in-depth analysis of e.g. the normative background and social or environmental context of a controversy that has gained media attention but falls outside the framework of established international norms or standards. Such research includes summaries of our dialogue with concerned companies and relevant stakeholders.

Voting, where Ethix supplies voting services together with its partners.
